Condolence From: Nancy Pilcher
Condolence: To the family, Dick had so many, many friends over the years. I remember he would always look up, smile or wave as you walked by. He was a friend to all. He will be missed by so many. From former clients, Howard Holkan, Dick Eppard, and Tom Pilcher. Nancy Eppard Pilcher

Condolence: Dick lived across the hall from us when we lived in the apartment. He was my neighbor for 6 years and was one of the best neighbors I ever had. He and Ione occasionally dropped off extra desserts for us, loaned us his golf cart, and volunteered to keep an eye on the apartment when we were out of town. He was a great man and will will miss him dearly.

Condolence: Dicks family should find comfort in the fact that Dick enjoyed the best profession in the world. I recently retired as a barber from the town of Gowrie. I knew Dick casually and am sorry for his death. There are so few of us left.

Condolence: Dick Owens was a dear family friend and probably our father's best friend as well- a true gentleman about whom there was never any controversy or drama. My brother and I recall like it was yesterday sitting in his barber shop getting a haircut, reading the comic books and waiting for the stick of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum at the end of the haircut- never any other flavor. I hated comic books and never read them except while waiting at Dick's Barber Shop. RIP, Dick.

Condolence: I remember Dick as a kind person and boss. I worked for him in the early 1970's. His shop was on main street. May the family be comforted knowing he is with God. Dean David
