Our Staff

Bob has been a resident of Webster City since 1967. He grew up on a farm north of Duncombe. In 1959, he graduated from Lincoln High in Webster City. Bob then joined the Iowa National Guard at Fort Dodge. Following his active duty, he farmed with his father at Humboldt. He also attended the Iowa Military Academy. His service time totaled 10 1/2 years. He attended mortuary college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and served his residency with Bruce Funeral Home and Fosters.

In 1969, he became a partner in Fosters and in 1994 became the sole owner. Bob still spends much of his time at the funeral home and being involved in various community projects. He is an active member of Webster City Rotary, Diamond K Kiwanis, and the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation.

Scott is a second-generation funeral director and lifelong resident of Webster City. Scott attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge where he graduated with an A.A.S. in 2001. To further his education, Scott earned his Mortuary Science degree from Mesa Community College in 2002. In May of 2004, Scott took a position as a preneed counselor for Great Western Funeral Planning to gain more experience in pre-need sales. In May of 2006, he returned back to Webster City to continue working at the family funeral home and founded Foster Monuments in 2007. Scott earned the designation of a Certified Pre-Planning Consultant with the National Funeral Directors Association in 2006.

Scott serves in all facets of the operations at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. He is a past member and president of the Webster City Noon Kiwanis Club.
