Terry L. White old neighbor and family friend

My memories of Les are all fond ones. I too remember when he and his family moved in just 3 houses down from us. I remember thinking, oh great, 5 more girls in the neighborhood. But it all worked out just fine. The 3 younger ones liked to do boy things too. Play football, baseball, build rafts out of old telephone poles that were located in a marshy area not to far from our houses. I always wondered what Les thought about that. I spent alot of time at their house and when Les came home for lunch and supper, if I was there, I was always welcomed to join them. We moved away when I was in the 9th grade but always made a trip back to Gowrie to see the family. Les always had a that big smile and handshake for greeting you. As the years went on , the trips grew further apart. The thing that I think I am most fond of is, he never forgot my name and who I am. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and my friends. I know he will be missed. Terry White
