Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ida Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Ida would be my Great Aunt and I will never forget the countless Hawkeye football games I watched with her right below the pressbox on the West side, row 78. Some of my fondest memories of going to games as a kid are with Aunt Ida. She loved her Hawkeyes and she will be missed.

Condolence: Ida's dad and my dad were brothers. One memory among others I have is when I went as a very young child to visit Ida with my parents, probably in Iowa City. I remember just being in awe of her and almost putting her on a pedestal being an important nurse. Felt so important going for the visit. She will be missed by many.
