Obituary for Ida Nellie Johnson

Ida Johnson, 92, formerly of Iowa City, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster City with Pastor Elaine Caldbeck officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church Ida Nellie Johnson was born March 12, 1923, the daughter of Walter and Jannette Goldcamp Johnson in Big Sandy, MT. She graduated from Webster City Schools and later obtained a Master's Degree in nursing. She was a nursing instructor at the University of Iowa. Ida will be missed by her brothers, Elzy (Audrey) Johnson of Woolstock, Gene (Henrietta) Johnson of Kalona; sister, Joyce (Gary) Anderson of Fort Dodge, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Johnson; sister, Della Bothell. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City.
