The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Howard Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I met Howard 5 years ago when he sold a piece of land to me. I became very fond of Howard and we became friends and kept in touch. I called him yesterday to wish him a Merry Christmas and discovered that he had passed away. I am deeply saddened, and my thoughts and prayers are with Howard and his family. What a wonderful man!

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear that Howard passed away. Howard, Shirley & the Johnson family will always be remembered as special friends of our family. I'll never forget the good times my Mom & Shirley had together and the early Sunday morning visits Howard had with my Dad. He definitely was good company for my Dad after my Mom passed away. My thoughts & prayers are with the Johnson family.
