Condolence: Mr Allen, Although we didn't know you, you & your wife raised a wonderful, thoughtful, & talented daughter. We are blessed to know her & Marty. They are a lovely couple. Barbie often spoke of you fondly with concern & care. She has warm, fond memories of your lives & you will truly be missed. Having wonderful memories can help those put a smile on their face & remember your love in their hearts.

Condolence: Charles, we always enjoyed talking to you. You were always smiling and welcoming. My mom Betty and Marigene drove to Ames to work at Iowa State for many years together and became good friends. Now they are both in Heaven as you are now. We know that you missed Marigene very much. What a happy celebration to see Marigene and all of the rest of your loved ones who have gone on before. I'll bet my mom greeted you too. The community of Stanhope will miss you - you were an asset to our town. Until we meet again. God bless! Cheryl and Ed Haman

Condolence: Grandpa, I miss you already but I know you are with Grandma and are looking down on us. You always spoiled me rotten. I will never forget all the rides on the Putt Putt tractor on the farm, making homemade ice cream, riding in the scoop shovel in the snow, the time we went to see grandma at work and I wore those black patent leather shoes I wasn't supposed to and you didn't notice :-) and the cans of black olives at Christmas time, my favorite. I was the luckiest granddaughter in the world to have a grandpa like you. Damian and Teagan adored you and I am so very glad they got to spend the time with you that they did. I love you. Crystal

Condolence: Chuck, I never really thought of you as a father-in-law but more of a dad. You and "mom" gave me a great daughter to love until my dying days. Your woodworking skills were phenomenal and I wish I had those skills myself. I will miss having to "Ask The Expert" (private family joke) but the hat will remain in our memories. Rest peaceful dad and tell "mom" I miss her also Your only "son", Marty
