Condolence: Happy 88th Birthday, Dad!! In some ways it doesn't seem possible you've been gone as long as you have. We've had a couple weird years for farming - wet - dry. Last year much farm land couldn't even be planted. This year is much better - crops are planted and growing good and moisture is caught up....finally. I often think about how you would like to be out in the fields working the land....or taking people out to the fields to see your crops. I love you, Dad, and I hope you are enjoying your day with all your friends and our family. Daryl

Condolence: Dad, I am sure you have helped Mom settle in by now. And I'm sure we all have you watching over us now. That is a good feeling. Am wondering what anecdotes and stories you are sharing. Do they have fence post's there? One of your favorite lines when someone would say something about your boys getting big enough to do a lot of work around the farm was, 'Yeah, all I have to do is sit on a fence post and whistle.'
