The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wilbur Richardson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Uncle Wilbur had the greatest collections of anything that interested him from guns to china. He could tell every little detail about their history too. His bedroom at one time was a young man's adventure cave, with all kinds of animal skins, firearms, military memorabilia, etc. Wish I could have been closer to hear more stories of his war service and life during the depression. He was always faithful in sending birthday cards to his great neices and nephews. We will miss you Uncle Wilbur!

Condolence: Whenever we heard a lawn mower running, we knew it wouldn't be long before Wilbur would come flying by on his riding mower. He would go all the way to the road along the farm ground. We would stand on our deck and exchange waves, he would always have a smile on his face. When he wasn't helping haul, he would often sit on an old tree stump by the field and watch Jerry. We will miss Wilbur, he always gave us pears before the deer ate them all. He was the kind of neighbor everyone should have.

Condolence: I never remember Uncle Wilbur being anything but cheerful and liked to laugh alot. I remember plenty of times when I was young watching him crack up laughing watching "Hee Haw" in his favorite chair. He loved to collect things that interested him and knew everything there was to know about his collections. His bedroom when I was a kid was a young boys dream room of make believe with all types of firearms, military memorabilia, animal furs, etc... I wish I could have known him more closely later in life and heard stories of his war service and growing up during the depression years. I didn't get to see him very often after moving to Texas but will remember him fondly. He will be missed.
