Obituary for W. Harold Greenfield

W. Harold Greenfield, son of William and Lena Hassebrock Greenfield, was born October 13, 1925 at Kamrar. He received his education at the Kamrar Public School, graduating in 1943. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, for two years. On November 27, 1956, he married Georgina L. Wolfe at Iowa Falls. The couple farmed northeast of Kamrar, until they retired and moved to Webster City in 1989. Mr. Greenfield is survived by his wife, Georgina; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and George Loshbaugh of Cedar Rapids; son, Steven H. Greenfield of Johnston; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald Greenfield of Kamrar; Gary and Carol Greenfield of Ft. Collins, CO; sisters and brother-in-law, Arlene Van Langen of Webster City; Ruth and Don Kerby of Des Moines; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church at Kamrar and current member of the Missionary Alliance Church. He was an executive board member of the Missionary Alliance Church and a church usher, and a board member of the Stanhope Telephone Cooperative. His hobbies included reading, music and he was an avid New York Yankees fan.
