The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virgil Coleman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: David Jennings
Condolence: I only had the pleasure of meeting Joe a couple of times. I cannot speak to a lifetime of memories with him or to his many virtues because I simply did not know him well enough. If I can judge a man by the kind of children and grandchildren he produces, however, then I am more qualified to speak of his accomplishments. I knew his son Larry well and I only hope my own son can be the kind of man Larry turned out to be. Larry's sons carry on the tradition and what I have to believe is the best about Joe. For me, there is also the fact that he managed to earn the trust and devotion of Larry's wife, Joan. She was a loyal to Joe as she must have been to her very own father. Joan is not a person who does that without reason or because others might be watching. If she loved and respected him that much, that is all I need to know.
