Obituary for Ronald Kohl

Ronald Gail Kohl son of Kenneth and Verna Ogland Kohl was born on October 4, 1946 in Webster City. He received his education and graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School in Blairsburg in 1964. Ron attended two years at Iowa Central Community College in Webster City. From 1967 until 1973 he proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. On April 5, 1969 Ron married Debra Lee Rinehimer at the Church of Christ. The couple resided and farmed north of Blairsburg. In addition to his wife Debra, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Dani Kohl of Blairsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Kori and Byron Williams of Altoona; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Loren Johnson of Manson; mother, Verna Kohl of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; his brother, Kenny Lee Kohl and half brother, Lendel Garth. Ron was a member of the Church of Christ in Webster City where he actively served as a church deacon for many years. He also was very active with his family's farming operation. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his four grandchildren.
