Obituary for Pauline Virginia Harrison

Pauline Harrison, 93, of Lehigh, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Gina Spohnheimer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Pauline Virginia Daniels, daughter of Irwin and Tina Elliot Daniels, was born April 15, 1920 in the Lehigh-Homer area. She attended country school near Lehigh. On July 30, 1938 she married Fred Harrison at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple farmed east of Homer until they moved to Leigh in 1984. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1996. She moved to Southfield Assisted Living in 2010. Pauline is survived by daughter, Janice Anderson of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Michael and Mark Trapp, Jill Anderson and Jeff Anderson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joyce Harrison-Trapp in 2002, brothers, Melvin Daniels and Alfred (Shorty) Daniels; sisters, Bernice Powell, Lillian Anderson and Loveda Wohlers. She was a life long member of the Homer United Methodist Church and the Church Women's Society. She enjoyed quilting, baking and organizing the Homer church suppers and bazaars.
