Obituary for Paula Kisler (Dally)

Paula Dally Kisler, 50, of Madrid, Iowa, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Madrid with Father Brian Danner presiding. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Paula Lynn Dally, daughter of Wilbur and Patricia Steinmaus Dally, was born February 12, 1959 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City school system, graduating in 1977. She attended the nursing program at I.C.C.C. graduating in 1984. She received a B.S. degree in nursing from Mercy Nursing in 1998. In 1990, she married John J. Frank at the Court House of Humboldt County in Dakota City. They renewed their vows on June 19, 1992 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at Fort Dodge. The couple resided at Badger and Madrid. Mr. Frank died December 16, 2005. On July 29, 2008, she married David Kisler at the Boone County Court House. The couple resided at Madrid. Paula was a regulatory consultant/owner of LTC Solutions at Madrid. She retired in 2003 due to failing health. Paula is survived by her husband, David Kisler of Madrid; step-daughter, Morgan Kisler of South Miami, FL; step-sons, John, Daniel and Adam Frank, all of Norwalk; her mother, Patricia Crane of Stout, IA; sister and brother-in-law, Chris Pate and Ken Crise of Madrid; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Janette Dally of Macutah, IL; James and Darcy Dally of Cedar Falls; aunts and uncles, Norman and Janice Dally of Duncombe; James and Barbara Steinmaus of California; Rosemary and Vincent Kolacia of Fort Dodge; nephews; Rhys and Scott Pate, Hunter and Dakota Dally; nieces, Alexandria, Jillian and Jessica Dally. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father; grandparents and brother, Patrick Dally. Paula was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church at Madrid and the American Maltese Association, In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Malachy Catholic Church.
