They later bought a farm near Ellsworth where they and their daughters, Judy and Ann lived until Lee's death in 1955. The family moved to Webster City where Mildred lived the rest of her life. Mildred did volunteer work and was a great walker. She could be seen out walking all over town until her early 90's. After a bad fall, she lived at Crestview from 2003 until her death. She is survived by daughters, Judy L. Myers of Cedar Falls and Ann H. Miller of Waukee; grandsons, Scott (Chan) Miller and Kendall (Melissa) Miller; three great-grandsons, Matthew, Michael and Marshall Miller; two great-granddaughters, Kimberlee and Sophie and one great-great-grandson, Forest Miller; many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Dorothy Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Freda Irving, brother, Mark Berogan and his wife Violet and nephews, Keith Irving and Dale Myers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Public Television, which Mildred enjoyed watching in her later years.
