Obituary for Mavis Jeanetta Kleckner

Mavis Kleckner, 85, of Webster City died Friday January 9, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, January 15, 2014 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Rev. Michael Slininger officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mavis Jeanetta Kleckner was born on August 1, 1929 as the tenth of twelve children born to James W (Bill) and Ethel Dingman. She was married to Marvin G Kleckner on December 25, 1947. From this union they were blessed with four boys: Dennis (Holly), Darrell (Amy), Ross of Webster City and Ronald (Linda) of Spencer, IA. Mavis was born, grew up and raised her children all within a few blocks of her parent's home on Apple Avenue. She loved her home and after being away even a few minutes was grateful for its shelter and warmth. Mavis is survived by one of her siblings, Duane Dingman, her four boys, grandchildren and great-grand children, nieces and nephews. She wanted to outlive her elder sister, but unfortunately life had other plans. She will be sorely missed by all. Write a personal tribute to the Kleckner family at www.fosterfuneralandcremation.com
