Obituary for Masahiro "Masa" Funabashi

A Gathering will be held Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Chapel for Masahiro “Masa” Funabashi. Masahiro Funabashi, son of Yoshiharu and Yoko Nakazato Funabashi, was born October 8, 1980 at Kagoshima, Japan. He came to the United States to become a student in the Iowa Central Community College Aviation Program, from which he graduated in 2003. He also graduated from Utah Valley State College in 2005. He returned to Webster City to work for Strom Flying Service as a charter pilot and flight instructor.
