Obituary for Mary Maxine Enderson

Maxine Enderson, 88, of Stanhope, died Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Stanhope Parish with Pastor Suzie Moore officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, north of Stratford. Visitation will be at the church from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Mary Maxine Lawson, daughter of Loron and Bessie May Rexroat Lawson, was born August 20, 1926, in Russell County, KY. She graduated from Stanhope High School. On February 3, 1946 she married Charles C. Enderson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, southeast of Stanhope. The couple resided in Stanhope. Charles preceded her in death on April 20, 2012. Maxine is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Joan Enderson of Des Moines; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Bob Hill of Holly Ridge, NC; grandchildren, Angela (Kenny) Rumbaugh, Justin (Kellie) Enderson, Tyler Hill, Tara (Taylor) Jackson and Ashley (Eric) Peterson; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great granddaughters.
