Obituary for Marjory Ann Carlson

Marjory Carlson, 75, of Stratford, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wed. December 28, 2011 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Chris Burtnett officiating. Marjory Ann Carlson, daughter of Carl F. and Ann (Jackson) Carlson, was born November 6, 1936 in Rockford, IL. She received her education and graduated from Rockford,IL. On June 11, 1955 she married Jimmie Danekas in Rockford, IL. The couple later divorced. She was a homemaker, delivered papers for The Register, and also worked for Kerr glass Co. Marjory is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry (Debra) Danekas, of Hermitage, TN; Jimmie (Donna) Danekas, of Salado, TX; Dean (Eileen) Danekas, of Leavenworth, KS; Allen Danekas, of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Melody (Mike) Burtnett, of Webster City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Foresthye, of Rockford, IL; brothers, Roy Carlson, of Fruitland, FL; and Roger Carlson, of Florida.
