Obituary for Loretta Thomas

Loretta Ruth Kelly, the daughter of Ervin and Gertie Tuttle Kelly was born December 22, 1939 on a farm in Hamilton County Iowa. She was raised and educated in Blairsburg, graduating from Blairsburg High School in 1957. Soon there after she moved to Des Moines, where she worked for Look Magazine and Employers Mutual Life Insurance Company. She then moved to California in 1962. On April 4, 1965 she was united in marriage to Harold R. Thomas in Westminster, CA, where they lived for the next several years in Orange County, where they owned there own business. Loretta then moved to Webster City upon the passing of her husband in 1985. Survivors include her son, Michael and wife Tina Thomas of Manson; step-son, Glen Thomas of Fort Dodge; step-daughter, Diane (Larry) Davis of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Ben Thomas of Duncombe, Tim (Emily) Jones, Jonathan and Nathan Thomas all of Fort Dodge; great granddaughter, Rachel Jones of Fort Dodge; aunt and uncles, Jean and Artie Bettis, and J.D. Kelly all of Webster City. In addition to her husband Harold, she was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles. Loretta was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Fort Dodge.
