Obituary for Linda Sue McGuire

Linda McGuire, 73, of Webster City, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, with Pastor Jeff Flagg officiating. Following the services burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:30 a.m. until service time. Linda Sue Hall, the daughter of Howard and Helen Erickson Hall, was born October 11, 1941 in Webster City. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1959. She married Michael McGuire on August 15, 1964 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames. The couple resided in Ames before moving to Parkersburg, WV. In 1966 they moved to Pueblo, Co. In 1969 they moved to the Webster City area, moving to their house on Willson Ave in 1980. Linda was employed with several companies over the years including Farmers Savings and Loan in Stratford and Crosley and Foster Insurance Company. Linda is survived by her husband, Michael McGuire of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Marna and David Seiser of Williams; grandchildren, Kara and Dawson Seiser; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Don Stewart of Webster City, Toni and Phil Larson of Stratford, Mari Buie of Stratford; brother-in-law, Jerry Von Ehwegen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kelly McGuire in April of 2003 and sister, Carolyn Von Ehwegen.
