Obituary for Judy Cole

Judy Cole, 75, of Webster City, died Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Van Diest Medical Center. A Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21 in the Fellowship Hall at the Foster Funeral Home. Judy Jane Johnston, daughter of Archie and Helen Johnston, was born January 2, 1939 at Deep River, Iowa. She received her education in the Grinnell school system. On April 26, 1958, she married Lyle Dean Cole at the Mt. Vernon Methodist Chapel in Washington, D.C. She had worked at Peed Publishing and Abens Realty as a real estate agent until her retirement in 2012. Lyle died January 18, 2010. Mrs. Cole is survived by daughter, Helen (Bruce Coleman) Cole of Webster City; daughter-in-law, Ryann Cole of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Cole Youngdale, Jenna and Julia Cole; and sister, Juanita Bower of Indianola. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Cole in 2010 and a sister, Joanna Hagerty. Judy was a former Moose Family Center member.
