The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Meneses can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: The best times were always the family get togethers. It was always a special treat when Uncle John & Marilyn would make the trip to New York to spend these holidays with us. The most fun was watching the 3 brothers Uncle Rene, Uncle John & Uncle Sadja, arguing & cheating every chance they got. Too many nights we would all be doubled over in pain from the laughs we all had. I will miss you very much Uncle. You have taught me that you can be tough & still be a caring person & for that I thank you.

Condolence: Yes Uncle Johnny's moustache!! That's the first thing I remember about him as a child. I also remember crawling around one of his big trucks when he came to NY to visit. It was always very exciting when he was around. I think the youthful spirit mentioned in his friend Gordy's tribute is a quality found in a lot of our family members and I feel so lucky to be apart of a family like that. He truly will be missed.
