The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean McMurray can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Patricia McCauley, violin
Condolence: I just read a beautiful Obituary of a beautiful woman in the DSM Register. Jean had a wonderful daughter, Ann, whom I gave cello lessons to in 1956 - she was my favorite student, and reflected the positive mind-set received from her outstanding Mother. I send my sympathies to Ann and your wonderful extended family.

Thank you for all the unforgettable memories and showing us what it means to be a caring, honest, and wonderful person. You will be greatly missed, but we all know that you had an extraordinary life. Condolence From: Marty Hurd Thomas, neice
Condolence: A link has been broken. A force has left us. In the march of generations we are stepping to the forefront. There is much to show for Aunt Jean's time here with us. I can picture her now as I'll always remember her - a ball of energy looking around, sizing up the situation and seeing where she can be effective and what she can organize. Beyond the pale they are wondering what hit them! My mom is happy.
