Obituary for Isobel Clifford Christian

Isobel Christian, 61, of Webster City, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Hamilton Hospital. A Time of Gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Fosters Chapel. Arrangements were made with Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Isobel Clifford Follan, daughter of John and Margaret Clifford Follan, was born March 5, 1948 at Greenock, Scotland. She received her education in Scotland. On October 3, 1969, she married Marvin Christian at Greenock. She moved from Scotland to Webster City in the early 70's. Mr. Christian died in April of 2008. Isobel is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Holly Christian; Terry and Erin Christian, all of Webster City; 7 grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Roland of Port Glasglow, Scotland; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers and sisters.
