Obituary for Inez Ellen Burckle

Inez Burckle, 96, of Webster City, died on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Asbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Flagg officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Inez Ellen Pringle was born April 14, 1918 in Woodlake, MN, the daughter of Edward and Julia Drake Pringle. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1935. On April 16, 1939 she married Ralph Waldo Burckle at Webster City. The couple owned Burckle Jewelry until 1978 when they sold to Ron and Connie Gilbert. They enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ. Mr. Burckle preceded Inez in death on November 1, 1999. Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Arla Kay and Don Roberts of Des Moines, Diane and Bill Crystal of Stratford, Carole and Denny Burgin of Centerville; grandchildren, Tony and Becky Crystal, William and Michele Crystal, Craig Roberts, Cris and Curt Larson, Michelle and Wayne Cubbage and Jason Burgin; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred Pringle, Roland "Gus" Pringle and Leonard "Buck" Pringle. Inez was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, the Webster City Links Golf Club, card club, pot luck club and a church circle.
