Obituary for Hatsue Johnson

Hatsue was born August 28,1929, in Okinawa, Japan. She married John Johnson, a native of Webster City, Iowa, on June 18, 1953 in Okinawa. Since 1967 they lived in Webster City following John's retirement from the United States Army. Hatsue was a faithful wife and took care of John until his death on August 28, 1994. She loved sewing and baking apple cake to share with others. Everyone loved her shrimp fried rice. She is survived by her sister, Shige Hirata, and many nieces and nephews. She went to sleep in death on January 14, 2011.
