Obituary for Harold Dean Dilley

Harold Dean Dilley, son of Laurence and Calva Flowers Dilley, was born May 10, 1936 at Webster City. He received his education in the Webster City school system. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, one year was in Germany. On October 25, 1964, he married Carolyn Alice Pigsley at Clarion. He had been employed by various trucking firms in the area. In 1970, they moved to Jewell, then from 1976 to 1991 they lived at Duncombe. On July 2, 1991, while residing at Duncombe, Carol was taken home to be with her Lord. He then moved to Stanhope where he had many friends and continued to work part time. In 2005, he moved to the Stratford Care Center. Dean is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dodie and Joe Wolfgram of Webster City, grandchildren, Austin, Allie, Amy and Alex Wolfgram; brothers and sister-in-law, Dale and Carolyn Dilley of Stanhope; Jerry Dilley of Ellsworth; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jane Hill; brother-in-law, Muggs Hill and sister-in-law, Janice Dilley.
