Obituary for Gloria Elaine Young

Gloria Young, 63, Webster City, died Monday, January 15, 2001, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Cindi O'Brien, ministry assistant, officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and prior to services on Thursday. Gloria Elaine Gatewood, daughter of Fred and Daisy Sweazey Gatewood, was born July 31, 1937 at Webster City. She received her education at Webster City. On July 13, 1957, she married Gary Young at Jackson, MN. The couple resided in WebsterCity. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband,Gary, sons and daughters-in-laws, Calvin and Barb Young, Robin and Judy Young, all of Webster City, Bill Young of Woolstock, Daughters and sons-in-law, Luana and Don Hollingshead of Williams, Mindy and Joe Scott of Garner, 12 grandchildren, sisters, Connie Jo Hilpipre of Madrid, NE., Evelyn Wagner of Webster City, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Melanie Ann Young, Brothers, Donald, Delbert, Robert, Fred, and Charles Gatewood, Francis Brown; sisters; Beverly Berleen and Lavonne Samuel.
