The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Geraldine Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mary Jo Thompson Hudson
Condolence: Mrs. Smith took extra time to explain the method of math used at the Vincent school when I transferred in as a 6th grader. She was so kind. I have very fond memories of her and the other staff members during my 3 months in that school. She was the ultimate educator.

Condolence: Gerry was one of the nicest women I ever had the priviledge to teach with during our years in Eagle Grove. We had so much fun piloting the Berkeley (Growing Healthy) Project together, attending and teaching many workshops through the years. She was so much fun but always the ultimate professional.
