Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frances Mitchell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Frances was a much needed understanding, compassionate voice during my high school years. The non-judgemental tone of the Mitchell home and the inclusiveness of Frances's parenting is an inspiration to me today. I have three boys 9, 6, and 2 and would love to establish the same kind of welcoming, fun-loving safehouse for my boys and their friends that I always found at the Mitchell House. With 9 boys that regularly congregate at our house -- I know that Frances make it look easier than it really is.
