Obituary for Doris Ann Kraemer

Doris Kraemer, 85, of Webster City died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Eichler, officiating. Burial at Graceland Cemetery will follow the services. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Doris Ann Lindsteadt, daughter of Ernest and Frieda Schnoor Lindsteadt, was born September 20, 1930 in Norfolk, NE. She graduated from the Norfolk school system. Doris married Harlin Kenneth Kraemer on February 6, 1949 in Norfolk, NE. The couple lived in Concord, NE for six years before moving to Colfax, WI. In 1969 they made Webster City their home. Doris and Ken owned and operated Kraemer Feed Service. Doris is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth of Webster City; sons, Gary Kraemer of Webster City, Roger Kraemer of Colfax, WI; daughter, Ruth (Chris) Ederer of Homosassa, Fl; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Karla) Lindsteadt of Norfolk, NE, Kathy (Darrell) Coppock of The Villages, FL, John (Janet) Lindsteadt of Lincoln, NE; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and William Lindsteadt. Doris was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for 46 years. While in Arizona she attended Christ Lutheran in Yuma. She taught Thursday School at St. Paul's for many years. She enjoyed wintering in Arizona for 20+ years. She was very creative and loved to quilt and bake, especially cookies.
