Condolence: Hank, I was and am so sorry to learn of Betty's passing. I cannot tell you how much you both mean to Bruce and I. You always had an open door for us, no matter when we stopped by, even with no notice. Thanks so much. And I appreciated that Betty still had that caring, gentle nature even through the struggles of the past years. It truly is who she was, deep, deep down. It would have meant so much to have attended the funeral or visitation, but I didn't know, and had a wedding anyway. Will be praying for you! Anita Bane

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was such a fine lady. Soft spoken and sweet. Hank, you and Betty did such a nice job of raising your children. It was a privilege to know your family. We were fortunate to be able to hire the girls to babysit for our children. Please be assured that all of you will remain in my prayers. With sincere sympathy, Sue Malek Anderson

Condolence: Hank - so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Betty. The two of you had profound influence in the life of our family during our time in Webster City and beyond. Betty had such a wonderful Christian spirit and quick wit. We have often spoken both your names with greatest fondness as we remember our days alongside you in ministry at the Asbury Church. Rev. Mike, Theresa, Sarah and Lisa Morgan

Condolence: I went to Holstein High School with Hank and Betty, and from kindergarten on with Hank. Love you both, and Hank, know that we are all thinking of you and the kids. Betty and I rode horses together, and played piano duets together, and did all the high school things one did. Betty was a good basketball player and I got to haul the balls around for the team. Lots of memories of her dad driving us, through snowstorms to "away" games. Elizabeth (Liz) Obrecht Schmidt, Columbia, Mo

Condolence: Although I have been gone from Webster City for over 20 years, I still remember Betty as being one of my favorite people there....her Christian attitude, her smile, her wit, her friendliness. I enjoyed being in handbells with her for over 15 years and serving as a fellow church secretary. She will enjoy Heaven and Heaven will enjoy her!

She showed us all how to lead a full Christian life... she led by example and will continue to live on at Asbury... She was an angel on earth and has now earned her wings in heaven! God bless your heavenly journey, Betty. You will be missed in presence, but forever with us in spirit. Love - Tim, Kathy, Bailey, Erin & Maddie Anderson
