Obituary for Betty Lou Olthoff

Betty Olthoff, 83, of Webster City, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 with her family present. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Linda Bibb officiating. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery. Betty Lou Olthoff, daughter of Joe and Lena Mamminga Olthoff, was born December 14, 1925 at Kamrar. She was baptized at the First Presbyterian Church in Kamrar. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. She was employed at Hahne Printing for many years. She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Deloris Lee of Johnston; and Mary and Bob Long of Webster City; brothers and sister-in-law, Don and Donna Olthoff of Tuscon, AZ; and Harold Olthoff of Mesa, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ray Olthoff, sisters-in-law Mary and Jo Olthoff, brother-in-law, Wayne Lee, niece, Kathy Mitchell and nephew, Billy Lee. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
