Condolence: "BARTIMAS" That's what I called him. I'll never forget when we dressed up in old service uniforms and even had a drum playing, as we sent him off to the Vietnam war With all of us praying for him, he did his duty. I recall the story about his having landed on another parachute after jumping out of the plane. It was an unpopular war, and hard to come home from. I believe it left many wounds on him. He was a quiet gentle guy with a sweet smile and laugh. I loved to visit with him about writing. I pray to our Lord and Savior to receive him in his loving arms......Love to his family, Peg Lowary
