William Spencer

William “Bill” Spencer, 67, of Webster City died Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his home. A Celebration of Life is pending with his family. Foster Funeral and Cremation is serving his family.
William Robert Spencer, son of William and Eden (Bennett) Spencer, was born October 31, 1956 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Rolfe High School in 1975. He was married to Cindy Cruickshank and to this union three sons were born. The couple later divorced. He worked for many years at Electrolux. Following the closure of Electrolux, William received a degree in Turf Management from Iowa Central Community College.
He is survived by his significant other, Brenda Hanlin of Webster City; sons, Jason (Kim) Spencer of McLouth, KS; Adam (Erika Flores) Spencer of Bondurant; grandchildren, Jack, Taylor, Aidyn and Hayden Spencer, Riley Smith, Motley, Elim and Daniel Shryock; mother, Eden Spencer of Rolfe; niece, Mandy Rasmussen of Rolfe; nephews, Theron Andersen of Fonda, Chad Spencer of Rolfe and J.D. Spencer of Curlew.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Spencer; son, Ryan Spencer; sister, Jan Andersen and brother, Jeff Spencer.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
