William Henrickson

William Henrickson Sr, 85, formerly of Kamrar, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church of Kamrar, with Reverend Paul Fischer officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. William Eugene Henrickson, the son of Carl and Lola Harmon Henrickson was born September 17, 1931 on the family farm northwest of Jewell. In 1950, graduated from the Jewell Independent school. He was drafted into the United States Marines, serving from 1952 to 1954. On November 13, 1955 he married Evelyn Middents at the First Presbyterian Church of Kamrar. William farmed the family farm northwest of Jewell and near Kamrar. He had been residing at Southfield Wellness Community since January of 2014. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn of Webster City; son, William II (Terri) Henrickson of Kamrar; grandchildren, Sarah Henrickson, Michael Henrickson, Nicholas Henrickson, Zachary Henrickson, Jonathan Campbell, and Samantha Massey; and five great-grandchildren.
