Wanda Jacobson

Wanda Jacobson, 97, of Wichita, Kansas formerly of Webster City, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Homestead of Crestview. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Wanda Delores Yanney, daughter of Jacob and Eliza (Martin ) Yanney, was born September 25, 1924 in Webster City. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942. On October 9, 1943, Wanda was united in marriage to Oliver “Jake” Vernell Jacobson in Norfolk, Virginia.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Carolyn) Jacobson of Petaluma, California; grandchildren, Jolene Taylor, David Garth, and Rob Jacobson II; six great-grandchildren; many other extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Jake, and daughter, Beth Garth.
