Veda Woodall

Veda Woodall, 92, of Webster City died Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Southfield Wellness Community. Per her wishes, no services will be scheduled at this time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for Veda and her family.

Veda Mae Woodmansee, daughter of Thomas and Theresa (Boehme) Woodmansee, was born July 23, 1934 at the family home in Webster City. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. On January 31, 1953, Veda was united in marriage to Rodger Woodall at the Asbury United Methodist Parsonage. She worked for Newbury’s Dime Store and later for Webster City Customs from 1977 to 1998. She was a past member of the Webster City Coin Club, Webster City Fire Wives, enjoyed garage sales and was a collector of many things.

She is survived by son, Dennis Woodall of Lehigh; stepson, Rodger Woodall of Texas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Veda was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger; daughter, Denise Shehorn; her parents; siblings, Blanche Trampel, Velda Mallo, Howard Woodmansee, Mabel Kennedy, Donald Woodmansee, Albert Woodmansee.
