Toy Phetxoumphone, 42, of Webster City passed away surrounded by her family and close friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Toy Phetxoumphone, daughter of Khen and Boualay Phetxoumphone, was born October 27, 1982 in Ubon province Thailand. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1988 and settled in Fresno, California. She and her siblings move to Webster City, Iowa in 1997 where she met her spouse Mike Vankham and had 3 sons. She graduated from Webster City High School. Toy worked for many years as a paraeducator for Webster City Middle School.
She is survived by her spouse Mike Vankham; sons, Jordan, Jaysen and Jaxson Vankham all of Webster City; father, Khen Phetxoumphone of Fresno, CA; brothers, Aenoi (Tina) Phetxoumphone of Clarion, Choy (Yaya Ortiz) Phetxoumphone of Webster City; sisters Jenny, Leune, and Christie all of Fresno, CA along with many extended family members and friends.
Toy is preceded in death by her mother, Boualay Phetxoumphone and niece, Kelly Phetxoumphone.
