Todd Allen Wilson, son of Wyman and Patricia (Sinn) Wilson, was born on December 1, 1968, in Clarion. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1987.
On August 18, 2018, Todd was united in marriage to Jennifer J. Shanker at Briggs Woods in Webster City. Todd dedicated nearly three decades of his life to Arnold Motor Supply in Webster City, where he had been employed since 1997 and most recently served as manager. Work was more than just a job for Todd; it was a passion, and he took great pride in the work he did and the people he worked alongside.
Todd lived life on his own terms and loved making the most of every moment. Racing held a special place in his heart, and he was inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame in 2022, a reflection of his dedication and love for the sport. He also enjoyed riding side-by-sides, camping, smoking and sharing good food, enjoying a cold beer, and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, Todd cherished his grandchildren and the memories made with the people he loved. Whether at the racetrack, around a campfire, or simply enjoying time together, Todd had a way of bringing people together and making life more memorable.
Todd is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughters, Rachel Wilson of Fort Dodge and Courtney Durham of Eagle Grove; Jennifer’s children, Alexis Shanker of Webster City, Brandon Fisher of Cedar Rapids, and Marissa Foster of Webster City; his grandchildren, Peyton, Huxley, Jaxon, Wilson, Archer, Barrett, and Isabella; his brothers, Rob Wilson of Nesbit, Mississippi, and Jim Wilson of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his sister, Erika (Mike) Dehnke of Kalispell, Montana; his stepmother, Cindy Wilson of Kalispell, Montana; his uncle and aunt, Jim (Judy) Sinn of Webster City; and several extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyman and Patricia Wilson.
Todd will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched. His passion for racing, his love of family, and his unforgettable personality will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. The memories he created, the friendships he made, and the love he shared will never be forgotten.
Forever Wilson Strong.
