Terry Arkland

Terry R. Arkland, 68, of Webster City, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Patrick Wiedemeier officiating. Terry Rae Arkland, son of Richard and Ruth Ames Arkland, was born November 15, 1946 at Hampton, Iowa. He received his education in the Eldora school system. After graduation, he attended a trade school in Michigan. On June 4, 1966, he married Bonnie Lee Moore at Ackley. The couple resided in Webster City. He had been employed at Webster City Products, United Cooperative for 20 years, Beam Industries for 12 years and owner of Arkland Tire for 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Tracie Arkland of Ames; Rick (Jennifer) Arkland of Webster City; Brad (Nancy Shyrock) Arkland of Ellsworth; Mark Arkland of Webster City; grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Allison, Brittney, D.J., Morgan and Brooke, Bobby; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Nancy) Arkland of Eldora and brother-in-law, Jody Steelman of Union; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Steelman; twin brother in infancy, Jerry Arkland.
