Teddy Anderson

Teddy Anderson, 77, of Webster City died Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at her home with her daughters. Per her wishes, private family services only. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Teddy and her family.

Teddy LaRue Kepler, daughter of Howard and Beatrice (Scott) Kepler, was born July 14, 1948 in Webster City. She attended school in Webster City. On August 21, 1965 she was united in marriage to Dean Alert Anderson at the Church of Christ in Webster City. For many years she raised her children and helped her husband farm. Teddy also was a certified nursing assistant in Webster City and Clarion.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Jim) Bryan of Webster City and Stacey (Chad) Ihle of Maple Grove, MN; son-in-law, Mark Smith of Mound, MN; grandchildren, Inga, Gunnar, Taylor, Grace, Leah, and Ava; three great-grandchildren; Liam Dean, LaRue Lynn and Banks James; sisters, Ruth Gatti of St. Paul, MN and Roberta (Wayne) Johnson of Webster City.

Teddy is preceded in death by her husband, Dean; daughter, Gina Smith; her parents, Howard and Beatrice; sisters, Karen (Don) Burton, Patty (Gene) Twedt, Rudy Gatti.

She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
