Tamra Betty

Tamra Betty, 55, of Webster City died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at her home. Per her request she was cremated and no services will be held at this time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Tamra and her family.

Tamra Jean Hutchinson, daughter of Charles and Jean (Dillingham) Hutcheson, was born April 27, 1971 in Pontiac, Michigan. She graduated from McEwen, Tennessee. On October 2, 1992, Tamra was united in marriage to Henry Betty at the High View Missionary Baptist Church in McEwen, Tennessee. She worked as a cook for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Henry of Webster City; sons, Charles Betty of Silver Lake, Kansas, Matthew Betty of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Kaylyn Betty of Topeka, Kansas; six grandchildren and her brother, Todd Hutchinson of Hawaii.

Tamra was preceded in death by her mother, Jean and her biological parents.

She was a member of the High View Missionary Baptist Church in McEwen, Tennessee. Tamra enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading.
