Steve Daniels, 65, of Duncombe, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on May 16, surrounded by the love of his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the service.
Steve was born on October 19, 1960, in Webster City, Iowa. He spent 41 dedicated years working at New Co-op, where he built lasting friendships and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a hand.
Steve loved the outdoors and rarely sat still. Whether he was racing, hunting, golfing, camping, tinkering in the garage, or working on a project, he was happiest staying busy and creating something with his hands. He was the kind of man who always had something to fix, improve, or work on, and he took pride in providing for and caring for the people he loved.
Above all else, Steve loved his family. His greatest joy was being a husband, dad, and especially a grandpa. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren and loved watching them grow. The memories made with family — from everyday moments to special gatherings — will be held close forever.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kendra Daniels; his sons, Seth (Sara), Stephan (Amy), Zack (Kendall), and Jake (Maddy); and his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Ever, Aubrey, Hudson, Millie, Brooks, and Rhett. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie (Dan) Bahrenfuss of Webster City; brothers, Terry Daniels of Webster City, Jeff (Kim) Daniels of Webster City, and Justin (Alyssa) Daniels of Duncombe; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Marilyn Daniels; his in-laws, Jack and Mary Cook; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Veryl Daniels Sr. and Reo and Frieda Ball.
Steve will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of the outdoors, his stubborn determination, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort knowing his legacy lives on through the people who loved him most.
