Stella Neese, 98, of Webster City, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Windsor Manor. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Stella May Bernard, daughter of Frank and Helena Schutt Bernard, was born May 10, 1920 on a farm near Woolstock. She was reared and educated in the Woolstock and Webster City area, graduating from Lincoln High in 1938. She married Wayne C. Neese in Fort Dodge in 1938. They farmed the Williams, Webster City and Woolstock area until 1970. Stella then worked at F.G. Jones Implement until her retirement in 1993. She moved to Webster City in 1995.
Stella is survived by her daughters, Donna (David) Kaus of Urbandale, Pam (Gary) Sigler of Oak Hills, CA; grandchildren; Amy (Jeff) Olson, Steve Kaus and Joe Quam; great-grandchildren, Audrey Kaus, Emily Ann Witt, David Witt and Kylie Quam; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; brother, Francis Bernard and sister, Maxine Holkan Turnell.
Stella was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City.
