Shirley Stahl, 76 of Webster City died Wednesday, March,10, 2021 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Graceland Cemetery. The family has entrusted Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with the services.
Shirley Ann Stahl, daughter of Everett and Dorothy Kolbeck Stahl, was born September 3, 1944 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School. Shirley worked for AT&T as a long-distance operator for 30 years.
She is survived by her brother, Charles (Melanie) Stahl of Meridian, MS; nieces, Stephanie Stahl and Brittany Stahl- Davis.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as a sister Joyce Colyer.
Shirley was a member of Van Diest Medical Center Auxiliary, Hamilton County Fair Foundation, Pheasants Forever, Webster City Congregate Meals and Pioneer of America. Her true passion was working with her father, Everett, feeding and taking caring for the trumpeter swans at Beemer’s Pond.
