Shirley Seiser
July 24, 1950 — December 23, 2023
Shirley Seiser, 73, of Webster City died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her Crestview apartment surrounded by her children. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Shirley Ilene Miller, daughter of Lavern and Doris (Elsberry) Miller, was born July 24, 1950 in Boone. She received her education from the Boone school district. On August 3, 1968, Shirley was united in marriage to James LeRoy Seiser at Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City. She was a wonderful mother and wife. She enjoyed playing BINGO, making crafts, watching home improvement shows but most importantly she loved time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Shane (Stacy) Seiser of Nevada, Jenifer (Troy Worthen) Seiser of Story City, Jamie (Robin) Seiser of Webster City; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Dori (Mike) Segar and brother, Darrell (Vickie) Harrington both of Webster City along with many extended family members.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James, on January 5, 2023; daughter, Jackie Seiser; her parents and a brother, Steve Miller.
