Sheryl Shehorn

Sheryl Lynn Shehorn, daughter of Alan and Marcella (Marcy) Proctor Shehorn, was born April 17, 1959 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City School System, graduating in 1977. She married Brian Mingus and the couple were later divorced. She had been employed at Electrolux for 14 years and retired in 1994 because of failing health. Sheryl is survived by son, Benjamin Mingus of Des Moines; daughter, Whitney Mingus of Spencer; grandson, Hunter Mingus; her parents, Al and Marcy Shehorn of Webster City; brother and sister-in-law; Shelby and Denise Shehorn of Webster City; aunts and uncles, Norma and Richard Rasmussen of Webster City; Lois and Don Sandt of Keister, MN; Gretchen Shehorn of Lincoln, NE; nephews, J. R. Berleen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Nathan Shehorn of Ames; John Berleen of Webster City; nieces, Emily and husband, Dan Jensen and their daughter, Brighton, of Manson; Elizabeth Shehorn of Ames. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and an uncle, Jim Shehorn.
