Sherri Westbrook

Sherri Westbrook, 52, of Webster City died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with visitation one hour prior to the funeral.

Sherri Lynn Worrick, daughter of Howard and Charlene (Kunz) Worrick, was born October 6, 1973 in Webster City. She graduated from Iowa Central Community College and attended Buena Vista University. She worked in a casino in Kansas City prior to moving back to Webster City. For many years she served as a substance abuse counselor, guiding and aiding so many in their sobriety journey for over 10 years. Sherri was involved in community events to help domestic abuse survivors. She was on the founding team for the annual Angel Ride held to help brighten the lives of many during the holiday season. She enjoyed her outdoor oasis, decorating for Halloween, doodling, and playing BINGO.

She is survived by her daughter, Lacey (Adam McMurray) Westberg of Urbandale; son, Ben (Alex Hauge) Westberg of Webster City; her faithful support dog, Blue; brothers, Chad and Scott Worrick both of Renwick; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles along with lifelong friends, Ross, Jason, Mindy, Amanda, Wendy, Don, Pearl and Desi. Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Charlene; grandparents, Bernard and Gertrude Worrick and Elmer and Irene Kunz and cousin, Jeremy Herbert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to her children.
